Odroid DAC 4452 with 3.5″ Touch display and remote

He who waits for something good never waits too long…

Today we finally released our long-awaited DAC with AKM chip AK4452. It is “prepared” for Odroid C1+/C2 but can of course be used as a standalone DAC together with any I2S or DSD source.

The kit contains a DAC module, 3.5″ LCD touch display, controller module, remote control and all necessary cables and spacers to put everything together. The design needs two PSU’s 5VDC and 12VDC. Since the DAC part is ground isolated from the Odroid (I2S source) part it needs two different PSU’s


Remote control is used to control volume, scroll between digital filters, invert phase, turn on/off the display and of course mute.

The DAC has balanced outputs via XLR and unbalanced outputs via onboard header which can easy be connected with included RCA.


Odroid DAC 4452 is a high resolution stereo audio reference DAC module, prepared for ODROID-C1+ and ODROID-C2 single board computer.
I²S and DSD based together with Asahi Kasei Microdevices D/A converter with a fully balanced design and a unique discrete buffered output stage. 3.5” LCD touch display and a remote control is included and are easily connected together with DAC board.
Odroid DAC 4452 has an I²S and DSD input, which makes it a DAC module that can be used with basicly any audio source with an I²S or DSD output.

Power Requirements
External PSU needed:

Odroid DAC 4452 doesn’t need any hardware configuration. The only thing needed is to have I²S
drivers/modules installed and running when used with Odroid single board computer.
